By using GradeFusion (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use.
Acceptable use
You will use the Service only for lawful educational and administrative purposes. You will not share your login credentials, attempt to access other schools’ or users’ data, use the Service to distribute malware, or violate any law. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse.
Support levels
Standard support is provided via email (see our Support page). Response times and service levels may vary. Schools with a paid or custom agreement may receive defined SLAs; see your contract or contact support for details.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of the content and data you enter. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service (e.g. store, display, and back up your data). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter student and staff data and that your use complies with applicable laws.
Data processing and student privacy (US)
Where we process student data in the US, we support compliance with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) as applicable. Schools that need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) can request one from Support.
Availability and changes
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where possible.
Disclaimer and liability cap
The Service is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for operational reasons, with notice where appropriate. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your data (see Privacy Policy).
