How to use GradeFusion and answers to common questions.

Common tasks

Create a test and let students take it
Go to your class → Assign test. Enter title and description, set allowed attempts (1, 2, 3, or unlimited) and whether a code is required. Click Create test & add questions, add questions (multiple choice, true/false, or free response), then go back to the test and click Generate code (if code is required). Share the code with students; they enter it on the student portal or from the class page. If you did not require a code, students can start the test directly from the class page.
Grade a test after students submit
Open the test from the class page → Submissions. Click View & grade next to a student. You’ll see each question, the student’s answer, and a points field. Enter points for free-response questions (multiple choice is auto-scored), then Save grades.
Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)
Go to Settings → My Profile. In the Two-factor authentication section, click Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator), then enter the 6-digit code to confirm. Next time you log in, you’ll be asked for the code after your password.
View and enter grades
From Classes open a class, or use Students and open a student. You can add or edit grades from the class view or the grades dashboard. Only teachers assigned to the class (and the director) can edit that class’s grades.
Take attendance
Go to the class → Attendance. Choose or create a session (date + period), then mark students present, absent, late, or excused. Submit the session when done.
Assign work and see submissions
From the class, click Assign new work. Add title, description, and optional deadline. Students see it under their class and can turn in files. View submissions from the assignment; you can mark work complete or request revision.

FAQ

Who can see what?
Directors see their school’s classes, students, teachers, and admins; they can manage everything. Teachers see only classes they’re assigned to and can manage grades, assignments, and tests for those classes. Administrators have operational access as set by the director. Students see only their own classes, assignments, tests, and grades (via the student portal). Data is isolated by school.
I forgot my password.
Staff (teachers, directors, administrators): use Forgot password? on the sign-in page to receive a reset link by email. Students log in with school, email, and student ID (no password); contact your teacher or support if you need help.
The test code doesn’t work.
Codes expire after 10 minutes. Ask the teacher to generate a new code from the test page. Make sure you’re entering the code for the correct class and that you’re logged in as a student in that class.
Can I download my data or delete my account?
Staff can Download my data and Request account deletion from Settings → My Profile (when logged in). See our Privacy Policy and Data Protection page for more.
